How to install perforated frosted window film (AR08)

Below you will find instructions on how to install perforated frosted window film. Do not use any water.
- Make sure to not install your window film in direct sunlight, make sure the temperature of the window film, the window itself and the surrounding air is -ideally- around 12 to 18 degrees Celsius. When the temperature is above 18 degrees we advise you to apply the window film during the early mornings or after sundown. The higher the temperature to more difficult you will make it yourself to successfully install the perforated frosted window film.
- Always keep your perforated frosted window film flat so that is does not bend/fold.
- Clean the window (use a scrapper) and window frame thoroughly. Remove paint, grease and other dirt. This is especially important when the perforated window vinyl is applied outside, due to the holes in the material. Otherwise you will get issues with adhesion.
- If you are applying near the ceiling and/or the ground make sure they are also clean. Also be wear of flying insects. Lock pets up.
- Use the supplied squeegee and card over the application-tape / transfer-tape on the front of the perforated frosted window film to further increase the binding between the two. Use a sturdy flat surface, like a table.
- Remove the backing paper. Carefully!
- Install the perforated frosted window film with the application-tape / transfer-tape to the window and position the window film at the preferred location.
- Best if to use at least 2 people! Use your supplied free squeegee. Start in the middle/center of the window film and move horizontal with overlapping movements towards the edge of the window film. During which you / the other person hold the window film a couple centimeters (2 inches) above the mounting-surface / glass itself.
- Allow the self-adhesive enough time to stick to the window. So that removing the application tape / transfer-tape does not lift the perforated frosted window film from the surface / window. Remove the application-tape / transfer-tape after a couple of hours. About 6 to 12 hours should be enough.
- Do NOT pull the transfer-tape / application-tape away from the window-glass. Pull the transfer-tape/application-tape downwards along the glass.
- If, when removing the application tape, you lift the perforated frosted window film from the mounting-surface / window glass. Wait 24 to 48 hours before removing the application-tape / transfer-tape.
- The perforated frosted window film should last for many years. Only clean the perforated frosted window film with water and a very mild soap using a soft cloth.
